Help us build the evidence for Creative Health across the West of EnglandWe are seeking evidence from creative health, arts and health, arts, culture and wellbeing, and community-based projects delivered across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) and Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES).

 

This project, led by the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) in partnership with the West of England Creative Health Network (WECHN), aims to bring together and synthesise evidence from across the region to demonstrate how creative health contributes to local priorities such as prevention, reducing health inequalities, supporting wellbeing, strengthening communities, and reducing pressure on health and care services.

 

We want to learn from the many organisations, practitioners, artists, community groups, charities, and public sector partners already delivering valuable work across the region.

 

What are we looking for?

 

We welcome submissions of:

• Evaluation reports

• Project reports

• Outcome and impact assessments

• Research studies

• Service evaluations

• Monitoring data and findings

• Case studies

• Learning reports

• Evidence of lived experience and participant outcomes

• Other relevant evidence relating to creative health activity

 

Submissions may relate to any population group, setting, or creative health activity.

 

Why contribute?

• Build a stronger evidence base for creative health across the region.

• Demonstrate the value and impact of existing work.

• Support conversations with commissioners, policy makers, NHS partners, and local authorities.Identify examples of effective practice and innovation.

• Highlight evidence gaps and priorities for future research and evaluation.

 

Findings will be synthesised into an accessible, policy-focused report and supporting visual resources designed for non-academic audiences.

 

How will the evidence be used?

Submitted evidence will be reviewed and synthesised by the project team. Evidence may be used to:

Produce a regional evidence synthesis report.

Create infographics and visual summaries.

Develop resources for stakeholders, commissioners, and policy makers.Inform future creative health strategy, collaboration, commissioning, and research activity.

 

Where appropriate, project leads may be contacted to clarify information contained within submissions.
